Multipart Writing Project

This project is something that I worked on for my Green Rhetoric class. Green Rhetoric was a really fun writing class for me to take. I explored different genres and styles all while keeping the focus on green writing, or writing about nature, the environment, and even environmentalism. This final project is a green campaign. I chose a green topic and created the three parts of the project: an op-ed, an infographic, and social media posts. For this project I focused on Earth Day. I began the project writing about Earth Day events at DU and then used other mediums to share more information about Earthy Day because April 22, 2020 marked the 50th Earth Day. I had a lot of fun being able to write about the environment and nature as it is something I am very passionate about. This class taught me a lot about what green writing is, challenged me to appeal to certain audiences, and take a crack at design.
